Monday Over-40 Men’s 5-on-5 Basketball (SSA)

Location: Legacy Gym (formerly St. Matthew’s), East Syracuse
Day: Mondays

Who it’s for: Players 40+ looking for competitive hoops with great sportsmanship.

League Basics

Format: 5-on-5

Season: 8 games + playoffs (every team qualifies)

Rosters: 5–10 players; only players on the online roster may play

Deposit: $50 non-refundable holds your spot; balance due online before Week 1

Ref fees: $60 per team, per game (cash before tip-off)

Game Play

Timing: Two 20-minute halves

Stop clock: Last 1:00 of 1st half, last 2:00 of 2nd half

Uniforms

Required: Matching shirts with numbers

Declare your team color at registration (SSA store available if needed)

Policies

Tech fouls: $20 per tech, due before next game; 3 techs in a season may lead to additional penalties/suspension

Forfeits: Team owing a forfeit covers both teams’ ref fees unless 24-hour notice is given to SSA
