This recreational division is built for teams looking for competitive games, good vibes, and a fun midweek run. Games are played on an indoor field approximately 50 x 30 yards, creating quick drives, plenty of scoring, and nonstop action.

This league is built for teams looking for organized, full-field flag football with options for different competition levels. Whether your team is experienced and looking for a strong challenge, or newer to the league and looking for a better fit, PlaySSA offers both an A Division and B Division for the Summer/Fall season.

Format: 8v8 Flag Football
Season: Summer/Fall
Divisions: A Division and B Division
Team Fee: $650
Deposit: $50 non-refundable deposit required at registration
Roster Max: 20 players
Game Format: Two 25-minute running halves
Officials: 3 officials and 1 statistician per game
Weekly Official/Stat Fee: $55 per team, paid before the start of each game
Divisions
A Division is best for experienced, competitive teams looking for the highest level of play.
B Division is best for newer teams, less experienced teams, or teams looking for a more balanced recreational/competitive level.
PlaySSA reserves the right to review division placement to help create the best possible league balance.
Equipment
PlaySSA provides flag belts for league games. However, teams are highly encouraged to purchase their own “popper” belts for a better and more consistent gameplay experience.
Rosters
Starting lineups consist of 8 players, including 3 down linemen.
Teams may roster up to 20 players. Only players listed on the official online roster are eligible to participate during the season.
In the case of injuries, teams are allowed up to 2 IR roster moves during the season. All IR moves must be coordinated with the league commissioner.
Team Shirts
Team shirts are mandatory and must have numbers on the back.
Teams should declare their shirt color during registration. Shirt colors are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Playoff Eligibility
To be eligible for playoffs, players must participate in at least 5 regular season games.
No exceptions.

Who it’s for: Players 40+ looking for competitive hoops with great sportsmanship.
League Basics
Format: 5-on-5
Season: 8 games + playoffs (every team qualifies)
Rosters: 5–10 players; only players on the online roster may play
Deposit: $50 non-refundable holds your spot; balance due online before Week 1
Ref fees: $60 per team, per game (cash before tip-off)
Game Play
Timing: Two 20-minute halves
Stop clock: Last 1:00 of 1st half, last 2:00 of 2nd half
Uniforms
Required: Matching shirts with numbers
Declare your team color at registration (SSA store available if needed)
Policies
Tech fouls: $20 per tech, due before next game; 3 techs in a season may lead to additional penalties/suspension
Forfeits: Team owing a forfeit covers both teams’ ref fees unless 24-hour notice is given to SSA

Roster Requirements: Minimum 5 players, maximum 10. Only registered players can play or substitute.
Secure Your Spot: $50 non-refundable deposit required. Remaining balance due before the first week.
Game Details: Dedicated referee per game. $60 referee fee per team per game, paid to scorekeeper before tip-off. Two 20-minute halves with clock stoppage during the last 2 minutes of each half.
Team Apparel: Mandatory numbered shirts. Team color declaration required.
Penalties: $20 fine for technical fouls. Three technicals may result in further penalties.
Forfeit Fee: Responsible team pays both teams' fees unless 24-hour notice given.
