Get ready for fast-paced 5v5 flag football on a smaller indoor field built for quick routes, fast decisions, and nonstop action.
This is a recreational division, so expect competitive plays, good energy, and enough running to make Thursday morning a problem.

5v5 format
Roster max: 10 players
Start Date: Wednesday, May 27th
Game Night: Wednesdays
Location: OLR Indoor Training Center
Season Length: 6 regular season games + 1 week of playoffs
Playoffs: All teams qualify
Field Size: Approx. 50 x 30 yards
Division: Recreational Division
Rules: Standard PlaySSA 5v5 flag football rules apply
💵 Cost & Fees
Team Registration
Team Fee: $650 per team
Deposit: $50 non-refundable deposit required to hold your team spot
Remaining Balance: $600 due before the season starts
Ref Fees: $40 per game, paid weekly and split by the team
Individual / Free Agent Registration
Free Agent Fee: $85 per player
Free agents will be placed on a team if enough players register or if a roster spot opens
If we are unable to place you on a team, you will receive a full refund
Ref fees are not included and may be split by the assigned team

Register as a full team, or sign up as an individual free agent and we’ll do our best to place you.
Team spots are limited due to field size.
A $50 non-refundable deposit locks in your team’s spot.

Monday Over-40 Men’s 5-on-5 Basketball (SSA)
Location: Legacy Gym (formerly St. Matthew’s), East Syracuse
Day: Mondays
Who it’s for: Players 40+ looking for competitive hoops with great sportsmanship.
League Basics
Format: 5-on-5
Season: 8 games + playoffs (every team qualifies)
Rosters: 5–10 players; only players on the online roster may play
Deposit: $50 non-refundable holds your spot; balance due online before Week 1
Ref fees: $60 per team, per game (cash before tip-off)
Game Play
Timing: Two 20-minute halves
Stop clock: Last 1:00 of 1st half, last 2:00 of 2nd half
Uniforms
Required: Matching shirts with numbers
Declare your team color at registration (SSA store available if needed)
Policies
Tech fouls: $20 per tech, due before next game; 3 techs in a season may lead to additional penalties/suspension
Forfeits: Team owing a forfeit covers both teams’ ref fees unless 24-hour notice is given to SSA

Let your little slugger shine in our Monday Night COED Kids Kickball League! This league is built for fun, development, and getting kids active with others their age and skill level.
**LEAGUE FORMAT:**
Two divisions:**
8U Division (ages 6–8)
11U Division (ages 9–11)
Coed teams of 10 players (minimum 3 girls in the starting lineup)
Up to 15 players may kick, but only 10 play the field at a time
3 girls must be in both the field and top 10 of the lineup at all times
WHEN & WHERE:
Monday nights at AVERDI Fields at SSA Park next to The Spinning Wheel Restaurant
Season starts June 15th
7 total weeks (6 regular season + 1 week playoffs)
Game times: 6:00 PM or 7:00 PM
Each team plays 6 regular games plus playoffs
Games are 7 innings or 55 minutes (whichever comes first)
COST & INCLUSIONS:
$65 per player
Includes team shirt, referee fees, and prizes for 1st & 2nd place
TEAM SETUP (IMPORTANT):
Parents have two options when registering:
Option 1: Register a Full Team (Coach/Captain Option)
A parent can register as a **team captain (coach)** and create a team
After registering, you’ll receive a link to **invite players to your roster
Share that link with other parents — each player must register individually and join your team. This is the best option if you already have a group of kids who want to play together
Option 2: Register as an Individual (Free Agent)
Sign your child up individually and we will **place them on a team**
Teams will be formed randomly, with an effort to keep things balanced by age and skill. You can request a friend during registration and we’ll try to place them together
Important Registration Notes:
Each player must register separately using a unique email/login (parent/guardian info is fine)
This is how rosters, schedules, and communication are managed
Make sure to include your child’s name and shirt size during registration

Thursday kickball is basically the weekend with cleats. Get your team out, play your game, and give yourself a better story than “I almost stayed home.”
